Medfield Police Logs... Monday, August 23, 20218:38am - Phone - Animal Issues - Cross St - caller reports injured baby owl in backyard. ACO notified. 8:40am- Phone - Animal Issues - Harding St - caller reports skunk in a heart trap at this location, ACO notified. 2:20pm - Phone - Animal Issues - Minuteman Rd - caller reports raccoon roaming the area. ACO notified. 8:15pm - 911 Assist a Citizen - Pine St - E911 caller reports hearing loud crash and her husband ran out to the street to see what it was. Units enroute. Caller will call back with anything further. Caller called back reports there was an accident, no injuries and they are trying to assist with getting vehicle out of the mud. 335 request A1 for juvenile male to be evaluated. Assured Collision requested and enroute. Eversource called to evaluate pole 70 where guide wire is down. Eversource notified. A1 awaiting parent of juvenile coming from Sherborn. Assured on scene. A1 will be cleared with parental refusal. Assured has the vehicle. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 8:46am - Phone - Assist a Citizen - North Meadows Rd - caller reports seeing a male pushing a shopping cart in the roadway. Officer will check the area. 2:22pm - Phone - Suspicious Vehicle - Delaware Rd - caller reports a blue truck with a covered bed parked at location. Caller states vehicle was parked there yesterday as well, however he is not having any work done at the house and doesn't know who it belongs to. He could not see the plate data. 3:37pm - Phone - Vehicle Accident (Prop damage) - West St / North Meadows Rd - caller reports a minor vehicle accident at location with no injuries. Caller reports that vehicle was driving erratic. Both vehicles pulled over to the side of roadway. North Attleboro PD stopped male driving with heavy front end damage to his vehicle in their town. Male reports he was involved in a hit and run in our town. Male refused to be transported and North Attleboro PD is going to do a report and send to us. 5:06pm - Phone - Animal Issues - Rockwood Lane - caller reports animal stuck in his fence. ACO notified. 9:31pm - Phone - Suspicious Vehicle - North Meadows Rd - caller reports unoccupied vehicle parked where launch kayaks near bridge. Note on the rear window states they are fine and late night kayaking. 10:36pm - Phone - Missing Persons - Charles River - caller reports her father was canoeing today and went to Charles River from Millis entrance. She states about an hour ago he called her to say he was lost and took wrong turn. She is unable to reach him on his phone now. Officer out in the area of Rt 27 at the bridge where she thinks he took wrong turn. Millis PD notified. 334 checked the boat ramp and bridge area on 27. Negative check of access road. 332 out in the area of Medfield State Hospital, negative. ACO in the area of MSH. 332 out in the area of MSH with neg results. Sgt is pinging phone, Lt. Bennotti notified. Millis PD called and reports his vehicle is at the South Pond launch area. Phone is off. Wednesday, August 25, 2021 9:40am - Phone - Animal Issues - Hospital Rd - walk in reports his dog was attacked by another dog. ACO notified. 9:47am - Assist another agency - North Meadows Rd / Main St - Sgt out checking on a lunch bag at the corner. He will be disposing of it. 11:41am - Phone - Traffic/Motor vehicle complaint - Pine St - caller request officer remove contractor truck at location parked on wrong side of the road. Truck has been moved. 5:38pm - Phone - Traffic/Motor vehicle complaint - Main St / Hartford St - cell caller reports the car in front of her ran a red light and almost caused an accident. They are on Rt 109 heading toward Westwood. Call transferred to Westwood via the psap line. 8:04pm - Phone - Animal Issues - Philip St - caller reports he has a bat or bird in his house. On call ACO notified. ACO is out. ACO is clear, nothing found. 9:51pm - Phone - Assist a Citizen - Stonybrook Rd - caller reports he had a call from someone from National Grid looking for money. Caller has Eversource. He wanted this logged. Thursday, August 26, 2021 4:19am - Phone - Misdialed/Abandoned 911 - Boyden Rd - caller reports he accidentally dialed 911 from his Apple watch, no police, fire or ambulance requested. 8:00am - Phone - Fire Call - Maplewood Rd - caller reports her fire alarms are sounding. No smoke or fire showing. 8:36am - Walk in - Assist a Citizen - Pleasant St / Oak St - walk in has an empty oxygen tank that fell out of a van at this location. No plate on van. Dispatch will try to contact. Left message to have manager call the station. Tank has been picked up. 8:00pm - Phone - Animal Issues - Philip St - caller reports he has a bat in his cellar. ACO notified. 8:12pm - Phone - Animal Issues - South St - caller reports he has a possible sick cat in his yard. ACO notified. Friday, August 27, 2021 10:20am - Radio - Suspicious Vehicle - Plain St - Vehicle parked with nobody around. 11:10am - Phone - Assist a Citizen - Park St - caller reports a child's bike has been outside the business for a few days. 334 notified and responding. 2:59pm - Phone - Assist a Citizen - Green St - subject into the station re an older male in front of the above location who looks intoxicated. Car 332 notified. Car 332 is clear, GOA, no disturbance was caused. 3:20pm - Phone - Fire Call - Marlyn Rd - caller reports her bathroom is flooding. Box put on for this address, public assist. Car 801 is clear, water shut off. 7:01pm - Phone - Fire Call - Hillcrest Rd - A1 to investigate an outside odor of smoke in the area. Area checked with negative results, no hazard, command terminated. Saturday, August 28, 2021 9:04am - Phone - Assist a Citizen - Hennery Way - caller reports her phone is being hacked and would like to speak to an officer. 332 notified and responding. 9:36am - Phone - Animal Issues - South St / Oak St - caller reports dog struck by a car and now running around the area. ACO, 335 notified. Sunday, August 29, 2021 9:36pm - Phone - Vehicle Accident - Dover Town Line - Harding St - Dover PD reports Motor Vehicle Accident unknown personal injury on the Town Line. All cars and A1 notified and responding. MVA was in Dover, 332 and 339 assisted Dover PD with vehicle inventory. Monday, August 30, 2021 2:24am - 911 Fire Call - Vine Brook Rd - caller reports her fire detectors are going off. Box 421 struck. C3 reports faulty detector. 4:01am - Phone - Fire Call - School Street - Alarm company reports alarm going off, Box 421 struck. E3 with 2 on board. 801 reports no alarm sound on arrival, check the exterior of the house, nothing showing. Clear. 12:33pm - Phone - Animal Issues - Foundry St - caller reports sick fox wandering the area. ACO notified. 2:14pm - Walk in - Missing Property - Dale St / North Meadows Rd - party into the station to turn in a lost phone, unable to identify owner. Item will be placed into property. 4:03pm - Phone - Animal Issues - West St - caller reports injured bunny. ACO notified. 6:40pm - Phone - Traffic Control - Ice House Rd - caller reports female who attends bridge club at night keeps parking in a No Parking zone (fire lane). Caller is concerned that this may become a hazard. She would like an officer to check the area around 7pm tonight. Officer checked the area and there were no traffic violations.
