Organization: Thrive Support & Advocacy is seeking part-time team members who want to make a positive impact on their world! We need conscientious, caring, and dedicated staff to assist developmentally disabled adults with achieving an optimum quality of life while living independently in their communities. Thrive is a nonprofit human service organization that empowers children and adults with developmental disabilities to lead rich, active, and self-directed lives. Our Individual Support Team is driven to provide personalized support and care for persons living at home in the community. Responsibilities: Provide transportation to daily activities Take individuals to medical appointments and provide support Offer guidance in managing household responsibilities Assistance with money management Spend time with individuals in the community, enjoying activities Always show care and compassion Basic report writing and filing Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Able to self-direct and work independently Valid driver’s license Reliable transportation Adequate reading, writing, and oral communication skills Ability to pass background checks Ability to complete required trainings in a timely fashion, with support Pay and Schedule: Individual Supports is headquartered in Marlborough. This position will require working in Marlborough and surrounding communities including Westborough, Northborough, and Hudson. Job Type: Part-time, 20 hours with opportunities for advancement; mileage compensation.
