BOSTON — Amtrak has canceled all service Thursday between Boston and Washington, D.C. after severe weather continues to threaten the Northeast.
Record-breaking rains from Hurricane Ida caused extensive train delays throughout New York City, Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., and other areas throughout the Northeast.
SERVICE ALERT UPDATE: All service between Washington (WAS) and Boston (BOS) has been canceled for the remainder of the day. Cancellations from the weekend come 16 years after Hurricane Katrina made landfall near New Orleans on August 29, 2005.
