NEWTOWN, CT — A man was killed Thursday morning when the vehicle he was driving crashed on Head of Meadow Road in Newtown, according to police. The one-vehicle crash occurred at about 10:15 a.m.; the victim's identity has not been released. Police officers, Newtown firefighters and members of the Emergency Medical Service all responded to the scene of the crash, which is under investigation.
