Hi all. My name is Ed, 20 years ago. On 9/11/2001 my life changed forever. I use to be a NY NJ Port Authority Police Officer. shortly after 9/11/ I suffered a minor stroke. Which kept me from returning back to work. I made a 90% come back since then. 6 years ago was the first time being back in NY. I went to the 911 ceremony. It's heart breaking how people forget on what happen that day. 37 of my fellow officers died that day including my partner and my cousin. 343 Fire Fighters, 23 NYPD officers lost there's Not to mention EMS workers, And all the innocent civilians. So in Honor of all of them. I am going to make a memorial at the flag pole in front yard of my house. I am asking anyone who would like to contribute to it may do so from Aug 21st until Saturday Sept 11 2021. On Saturday 9/11/2021 at sunset approx 7:00 pm. I will read off the names of who I worked with. Followed by Taps. All are welcome to show their support. Update...Pic of My grandson along side of the memorial.
