Cat Tales Names 2021 Recipient of their Advocate for Animals Award Middletown, CT – August 28, 2021 Cat Tales names Cromwell, Connecticut Animal Control Officer Cheryl Gagnon for this year's Advocate For Animals Award. The Cat Tales Advocate for Animals Award (AFA) honors a person within our community who significantly influences the quality of animals' lives through their devotion to animal welfare. This person also supports Cat Tales' mission through their commitment of their time, expertise, or professional services. "We at Cat Tales believe it's essential to the success of animal rescue to acknowledge those who support animal welfare in our community." says Deb Bagley, President of Cat Tales. "Cheryl's greatest asset is her ability to educate the community about animal care and welfare concerns. By doing so, she's bridging the gap between people and animals and as a result, creates a better place for both. The award will be presented at the annual Cats in the Castle fundraising event, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT, 6PM.
