Meal Pick-up For BCPS Virtual Students Delayed By Holiday

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Due to the Labor Day holiday and closure of schools and offices Sept. 6-7, meal pick-up for virtual learners will be held Sept. 8 from 8 to 9 a.m. for Baltimore County Public Schools virtual learners. To participate, parents or guardians must complete the Virtual Learning Program Student Meal Order Form to become eligible to receive meals by the end of the day Sept. 2. Patch has partnered with Feeding America to help raise awareness on behalf of the millions of Americans facing hunger. Feeding America, which supports 200 food banks across the country, estimates that in 2021, about 42 million Americans may not have enough nutritious food to eat due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
