DANBURY, CT — Public and parochial schools in Danbury are closed Thursday. The remnants of Hurricane Ida blowing through the Northeast has caused massive flooding throughout the city. Eversource is reporting that 254 Danbury residences or homes are without power as of Thursday morning. Several flood warnings are in effect in Connecticut as numerous roads remain closed.
