WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — In the wake of the torrential rains from the remains of Ida, Westchester County has suspended Bee-Line bus service. A county spokesperson said the Bee-Line Bus/Paratransit service is expected to be restored by noon, after flooding conditions caused by severe weather across the county. Liberty Lines employees were out assessing the routes. Detours may be announced, officials said. The Bronx River Parkway has multiple disabled vehicles and multiple abandoned vehicles. There is flooding on the BRP in both directions between Exit 10 - East 236th Street and the end of the route, Taconic State Parkway; NY 22 (White Plains). All lanes are blocked. The Saw Mill River and Cross County parkways also have multiple disabled and abandoned vehicles. There is flooding and a road closure on the Sprain Brook State Parkway both directions in the area of Exit - NY 100 (Yonkers). All lanes of three lanes are blocked. The state Department of Transportation reported at 6:42 a.m. Thursday flooding on the Saw Mill River Parkway northbound at Ashford Avenue: Ramp (Greenburgh). All lanes are blocked.
