SCARSDALE, NY — The Scarsdale public schools are closed Thursday. Due to significant flooding at all seven schools, the buildings will not be open for students and staff. According to a spokesperson, "Our crews have been working around the clock to clear interior and exterior water damage, but our schools are not safe for students or staff at this time." The goal, the school district said, is to reopen Friday.
