About this position SeeScan is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist with general experience working in a manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will perform a variety of accounting duties and interact with many different departments across the organization. The position requires a hands-on, proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual that can process large amounts of data while meeting tight deadlines. In this position, you will • Process vendor invoices, which includes but is not limited to: Processing invoices, answering phones, and answering other correspondence received • Assist with monitoring the Accounting department email and completing vendor requests • Track all invoices and obtain the appropriate approvals • Ensure the appropriate coding and allocation of invoices • Process any internal expense reimbursements • Prepare invoice uploads and enter information into accounting software • Maintain historical records • Reconcile open invoices with vendors • Resolve questions and issues as they arise • Prepare wire templates and wires • Prepare 1099s • Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounts payable month-end closing process • Process weekly check runs, attaching approved invoices/POs to vendor checks About you • Acute attention to accuracy and detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage priorities against key deadlines • Ability to work collaboratively across teams • Proactive and self-motivated Desired skills and experience • Solid foundation in accounts payable procedures and strong knowledge of accounting principles • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Word • Minimum of two years of accounting experience o Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred We offer • A position within an established company that has over 30 years of experience • The stability of a larger company, but with the feel of a smaller, tight-knit community • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • Access to equipment, tools, and supplies to successfully accomplish the tasks of the job • Traditional and Roth 401(k) investment options, with partial company matching contribution • Flexible Paid Time Off plan with no cap or “use it or lose it” requirement • Opportunities for growth and continuous learning • An environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and achieving your goals If this opportunity is of interest, apply online at.
