BBSI has clients in Lane and Douglas County who are looking for experience carpenters. Responsibilities: • Integral part of a team assisting with all facets of residential and commercial carpentry • Maintain an organized jobsite • Perform in-house scope of project with team & maintain construction schedule • Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees • Coordinates with Foreman to achieve completion of project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications • Take direction from Superintendents, Office/Field Engineers, Foreman • Enforce jobsite safety by encouraging safe fork and use of PPE • General carpentry as related to the project Ideal candidates have the following skills and experience: • 3+ years of experience as a carpenter • Experience in commercial and/or residential construction • Good mechanical and problem solving skills • Good verbal communication skills & ability to follow instructions • Ability to read and understand blueprints, project plans, and specifications • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Reliable with a strong work ethic • History of being punctual, having good work attendance, and mutual team respect Physical Requirements and Work Environment: • Ability to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise • Ability to routinely maneuver and lift 50 pounds throughout the day • Must have reliable transportation to work • Must be able to work 40+ hours per week This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive wage DOE.
