OBRC is looking for someone who is energetic and eager to learn to join our BottleDrop Express team as a Technician I. Come work for a great company, no experience necessary! All training will be done on the job. This position generally works Monday - Friday from 6:30am - 3pm Summary The BottleDrop Express/DRC Technician I takes direction from and assists the BDE/DRC Project Manager and the Tech II in the preparation, assembly, installation and repair of BottleDrop Express/DRC containers and rooms at OBRC facilities and onsite at store locations throughout Oregon. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain BottleDrop Express/DRC containers and rooms and their components Perform routine repairs and maintenance of BottleDrop Express/DRC locations Modify ocean shipping containers to include framing, painting, door installation, and solar panel installation General assembly of electronic components Track daily activities according to the department protocol Additional duties as assigned Education/Experience H.S. Diploma or equivalent required Interest or aptitude in mechanical, electrical, and/or maintenance systems is helpful. Training provided! Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities Basic electronic, mechanical and maintenance skills Safely use power tools and PIT equipment Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate professionally at all levels with internal and external business partners Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work without direct supervision Ability to work multiple locations throughout the state Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to accommodate business needs A current driver's license and acceptable driving history is required Travel Frequent local travel and occasional out of area travel Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs Ability to occasionally carry up to 50lbs Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods or as needed Fine motor control with hands Use of close and distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus Frequent use of arms, elbows, wrists, hands Reach at or above shoulder and reach under shoulder Kneel, stoop, bend as needed Ability to climb ladders and steps Ability to work in varied climates Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision 401(k) company matching Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Ready to apply today?
