Siberian Husky needs a forever family

We are searching for a new home for our sweet, 6 year old husky named Saphira. She’s a good girl with lots of energy and lots of personality. Unfortunately her owners are parting ways and neither can care for her on their own. A little about Saphira.. She is a Siberian husky, 6 years old, has lived with a cat and a baby (now a toddler) and gets along well with both, as well as other dogs. (She’ll probably try to chase a new cat, wanting to play, but will not try to harm them.) She had surgery to remove her uterus a few years back, due to infection. After that surgery she gained some weight, which the vet said was normal. So she is not as lean and quick as she once was but she is still healthy and active. She has some separation anxiety and has been destructive in the past when left home alone, so she would be best with either someone being around most of the time or another dog to keep her company. She does fine being left in our home with the cat for a few hours, as long as she is getting exercise and plenty of play/positive attention every day. If you’re interested in offering your home to this sweet girl, please send me an email with a little info about you and your home. Do you have a yard? Do you have other pets? Do you take them for walks or to the park often? Do you have experience with Huskies or similar breeds?
