The delivery technician is responsible for the delivery, installation, and/or assembly of fitness equipment. Must be physically strong and capable of lifting machines with another installer. Must have good mechanical skills, be able to read assembly instructions and have experience with the use of common hand tools. Must have a neat appearance and a clean driving record for past three years. Drug screen and background check required. The ideal candidate will be customer service focused, reliable, and possess a general knowledge of fitness and fitness related products. Driving a company vehicle, the delivery technician will load, unload, assemble, and provide demonstrations of fitness equipment in customers’ homes. The candidate should be punctual, dependable, and able to work both independently and with a team. Job duties will entail, but are not limited to: • Determines or obtains best daily route, delivers and assembles all equipment, and educates customer on the proper use of it • Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when working with customers • Clean/maintain company vehicles, property, and equipment after daily usage • Procuring and completing any necessary documentation required by company and insurance Qualifications: • Mechanical abilities, use of hand tools, and heavy equipment operations • Customer service focus • Ability to work and make decisions independently in the field • Ability to communicate effectively with customers • Ability to complete paperwork properly, legibly and on time • Must have valid NC driver license and clean driving record • 3 years driving experience • Physically able to perform all tasks related to the position to include the ability to walk, climb stairs, and to lift 100 pounds without assistance • Back ground check and drug test will be required. Job Type: Full Time/Part Time Pay: $12-15
