Julius Squeezer needs a new home! Julius is an almost 2 year old male Colombian Rainbow Boa! He is a beautiful and docile snake and never misses a meal, and is currently eating one small frozen rat every ten days. He is in perfect health and I am rehoming him because I’m anticipating a move for grad school. I’d prefer he go with his enclosure which is a 36 x 18 x 18 glass enclosure with his large hide, water dish, decor, and under tank heat mat; but if you have a set up that's cool too. Julius got his name because he’s very squeezey and loves to be “worn” as a bracelet. He will hang out with you in this way while you do work or watch TV and is quite friendly, though is head shy and will flinch if you try to touch his head … so don’t! Colombian Rainbow Boas are NOT suitable for first time snake owners; they have some care requirements such as higher (60-70%) humidity, and they need consistent handling to remain tame. If you’re looking for a snake that you can handle occasionally but may not have time to take out every few days, I suggest a ball python! But if you want a good buddy that is very beautiful and gives good arm squeezes, Julius could be your guy. Considering his age, size, health, temperament, species, and setup, I’m asking $400 for Julius. If that price is prohibitive, I’m willing to negotiate to the right home; I’ll be choosey about who he goes to. For your sake and his, please please no first time snake owners!!
