What do you give up? Give up on looking for a magic rainbow to present itself on craigslist? There are shows in this area every week featuring local bands, even during covid there is original and improvised music in a number of venues and bars across the city and neighboring areas regularly. There are countless open mics at cafes and breweries almost nightly basis. You honestly sound like somebody who does not get out of the house much thinking back to the time when you did. Maybe you should get off of the internet and go out to some of these places to meet some people.
