The OP complained that "left wing cancel culture" is responsible for the flagging on craigslist, as if only one side is facing this problem. See attached picture, my post got flagged off in less than 2 hours! Yours stayed up for what? A couple days? I'm not exactly a Biden supporter, I think he was the better of two bad options, and I do think the Afghanistan withdrawal should have been done much better. Trump's endgame in his "burger of a phonecall" was to get Ukraine to help him win an election. And that really was the character of Trump's presidency. ME ME ME. Nobody else. Spite spite spite. My election above everything. My election above America. Way more people died than needed to die, due to Trump treating the virus as merely a political obstacle. Fighting with governors over PPE, medical supplies and control measures...mocking masks, fighting with medical experts, tweeting conspiracies, being himself a big source of misinformation and misguidance, constantly pouring gasoline on the culture war surrounding the virus. According to Trump, your fellow Americans are you enemy - and the people who bought that culture war nonsense, hook line and sinker, are the most damaging people to this country right now (I'll admit, that there are such people on both sides of the isle, but I think Trump's "talent" was bringing out the worst in them). I don't claim to know exactly what Biden was thinking during that phone call, nor have I really dug deep into the context. However I want you to think about this: in what world would putting on blast that: "Hey enemies, we're losing to you!" be a good idea? I can see how it was likely a strategic move, not a political one. Further emboldening the Taliban and weakening the Afghan security forces, and accelerating the fall to the Taliban would likely have been the result of open honesty in that situation. Nobody likes being mislead, but we already were mislead for 20 years over 4 administrations about the situation in Afghanistan!
