Portland, OR area Pink Floyd tribute In the Pink seeks guitarist/vocalist to replace a retiring member. The right person will be very familiar with Pink Floyd, intimately familiar with David Gilmour's style/tone/equipment, WELL-equipped, able to quickly learn the parts with 80% accuracy, available for rehearsals in SE Portland on Sundays from 2-6, prompt and reliable, able to sing (baritone/bass preferred), and dedicated to the success of the band. A good tech background with digital gear/audio software is a bonus. You would be splitting lead and rhythm guitar duties with the other guitarist. Vocals would vary between backing and lead, depending on your abilities and the songs. The usual deal-breakers apply. The best candidate already knows a whole pile of Floyd. The audition consists of sections from 5 songs. We have a core selection of songs played every show and a number of songs on rotation, in all totaling approximately 4 hours. Pre-Covid, we played out every 4 to 6 weeks between late February and early November. We anticipate returning to a similar schedule in 2022. And yes, every show is paid.
