Their primary purpose, and our company’s primary purpose, is to clear contents from a home or business to make room for the construction process to begin, usually related to an insurance claim. Currently seeking full and part-time employees. Job Description: The job sites we work on have recently experienced a difficult loss such as a fire or flood. Our work requires a careful hand and a compassionate attitude. The Restoration Field Technician/Crew Member is responsible for working as part of a team to perform contents restoration work while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation. This includes, but is not limited to, packing customers' contents, general on-location cleaning, deodorization of items, assisting with the inventory and/or disposal of on-site contents, preparing contents for storage, and moving items into storage. Other responsibilities may arise as deemed necessary. Schedule: General hours of operation are 7 am – 4 pm, Monday – Friday. These hours can vary due to the nature of the industry and the location of an assignment. Occasional weekend work may be required as well. Requirements: - Have reliable transportation to work. - Must have experience driving large vehicles (16'-26') - Must have moving/packing experience, there will be furniture wrapping and unwrapping as well as truck loading and unloading. - Be punctual and have strong communication skills. - Have a smartphone in order to communicate for scheduling. - Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. - Must be willing to submit to a full background check and random drug testing. Preferred Experience: - Willing to become certified in Pro5/Asbestos for Pro5 jobs. - Previous experience working on water/fire damage sites is a plus. - Preferred experience operating forklift. - Active or prior Pro5/Asbestos certification. - IICRC - WRT certification. - Experience in the restoration and emergency services industries is greatly preferred. Compensation and Benefits: - Hourly employment is based on experience, starting at $16. - Paid overtime. - Company medical/dental/vision available after 60 days of employment for full-time employees.
