Job description Machine shop laborer needed. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined and is used to physical labor and working with their hands. This job requires standing for long periods of time and some work must be performed outside. We are a job shop located in Charlotte, NC near I-77 and Billy Graham. We work Monday - Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime is very limited. The shop is heated and air-conditioned although some work will be performed outdoors. Reply to ad with resume. Responsibilities and Duties Typical duties are as follows but not limited to: • Grinding, sanding, polishing, cutting, cleaning and packaging of parts • High attention to detail is required • Cleaning and janitorial duties • General grounds and shop maintenance Qualifications and Skills Requirements for the job: • Punctuality and good attendance is job #1 • Attention to detail is job #2 • Must be able to use several types of power tools • Pass background and drug tests and have a valid, clean driver's license • Able to follow written and verbal directions • Stand for long periods of time • Lift 80 lbs Benefits Benefits include paid vacation and holidays, as well as company-paid health insurance, dental insurance, uniforms, and 401k with a match.
