An educational opportunity for judges in Warren and Clinton Counties to learn more about Ohio's forensic mental health system

Judges in the Southwest Ohio region are invited to participate in this educational opportunity to learn more about Ohio's forensic mental health system. This training is hosted by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services(OhioMHAS), the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities(OACBHA), and the ADAMHS boards serving Brown, Butler, Clermont, Warren, and Clinton Counties.
Attendees will learn about Ohio’s Forensic Mental Health System and the use of Summit Behavioral Healthcare, the local state hospital for individuals involved with the criminal justice system. A presentation will cover Ohio’s Forensic Mental Health System Legal Status, Senate Bill 2- Competency Restoration, and Outpatient Restoration. Presenters will include OhioMHAS and Summit staff, the ADAMHS Board Executive Directors, and a local judge within the region.
The training is free , lunch will be provided, and will offer CLEs.
