We have been dedicated Customers of yours for many many years! Today is a special day! You see we're traveling and in town for a couple of weeks. We are also on a very very tight budget so we have opted to sleep in our Truck for a night here and there. But tonight a knock on our window at 12:30am brought introduction to your (new?) Security person who was there to let us know that we needed to leave. Oh he was kind enough to suggest that we go down the street to the Wilco parking lot, how nice. Let me first say that there is not anyway for anyone to be able to see that there is even anyone in our truck. Your store, which we are patrons to, and which openly sells and/or serves food and beverage to the general public 24 hours a day 7 days a week, has a parking lot with ample space for parking particularly between the hours of 10pm-6am and there are numerous other vehicles parked there during these hours that are NOT employees. My point, besides the fact that we have been loyal Winco customers and were not troubling anyone or even visible to anyone for that matter, is that you have singled us out I presume under the suspicion that we are homeless - a presumption I assume was made by an employee observing us leaving your store and getting in our truck and not leaving or getting back out! I understand that homelessness is a tender topic around many folks these days and while Im not trying to engage in any argument in support or opposition. I believe that restricting people from any area that is otherwise open to the public for similar use is not only substantially lacking of moral fabric, but more importantly it is a violation of several Title 18 Rights under Federal Law. Now it is out of character for me to be posting about this, and it would be completely out of character if I were to refuse to comply and push the issue, which I am not going to do. But the icing on the cake here is made of a discriminatory type of social tactic with a blatent disregard for the safety of others and is lettered in the name of one or a very small group of individuals concerned about the "appearance" of a business glutinous with control and vindictive in its serving upon those they believe are less fortunate than they are. Shame on you to shoo us off at all, but if your mother knew how you waited until almost 1am to do so, as if we're in a familiar place and can just go home. SHAME ON YOU WINCO!
