You are invited to participate in Part II of the Lexington Park Business Association Interest Meeting. This meeting we will focus on next steps, potential leadership for this effort, and more. And agenda will be coming soon. . . . At the initial meeting on August 25th, we received a great about of support and feedback from the businesses present. Overview from 1st Session: The St. Mary's County Sustainable Communities work group would like to gauge your interest in participating in such an association. The goal of this event is determine interest for a Lexington Park Business Association. At this meeting you will learn more about Sustainable Communities efforts on Lexington Park, the benefits of a business association, and more importantly you will hear from each other. As a reference a business association is a member organization formed by businesses and organizations for the sole purpose of advancing the economic, professional, cultural and civic welfare of that area. Furthermore, they encourage and assist the growth of existing businesses and offers assistance to new businesses seeking to open in the area. (Please register for only yourself.
