East Hill Cemetery comes alive after dark just once a year! Tour the historic graveyard and meet notable characters from Salem’s past. These walking tours are family-friendly, fun and informative, but not scary. You’ll learn…

Good walking shoes and masks are recommended. In case of rain, the event will be held at the Salem Museum and masks will be required inside.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students of any age, and free for children three and younger. Ticket tip! The 6:15, 6:45, 7:15, and 7:45 tours tend to be less crowded. Get your tickets now to reserve your preferred tour time.

The Ghost Walk is dedicated to the memory of Joe LaRocco and Willie Robertson, who were much beloved Ghost Walk characters for many years.
2021 marks the Ghost Walk’s 23rd year and all proceeds benefit the Salem Museum.
The Salem Museum & Historical Society is an independent, nonprofit organization preserving and celebrating the history of Salem, Virginia, founded in 1802, and the surrounding region.
Open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted!
