Colorado Nigeria Day is dedicated to celebrating the Nigeria culture and all the remarkable achievements of Nigerians in Colorado. On this day, we invite people of all cultures, races, and ethnicities to come learn more about Nigeria's. Our theme for this year’s event is “standing united” this theme is focused on promoting unity in Nigeria and within our community in Colorado. This event will give us the opportunity to showcase our culture, food, lifestyle, what we stand for, music, enthusiasm, achievement, and so much more. Because of the positive response, turnout, and people's ongoing desire in having such a great networking platform, integration opportunities and the impact to our community we have decided to maintain organizing this event in conjunction with the Colorado Nigerians for the past 5years Expectations : -Come enjoy a free event open to all ages and race .The entire Colorado Community. -Opening speech by Mike Coffman (City of Aurora Mayor ) -Come learn more about the Nigerian history and who we are as a nation . Highlights: - There will be vendors with different merchandise and food trucks for you to patronize. - Performances from dancers,local artist and those with talents . -Nigerian music all day - Nigerian history story - Bring the kids to enjoy a good time in our jumping castle & other games . - There will be volleyball ,soccer and table tennis games . - A day to be out and enjoy the diversity in our community. - Come see us dressed in our Nigeria native attire .
