Our client City of Houston has immediate openings for Semi Skilled Labor. Please see below: Payrate: $14 an hour Work Schedule : Mon - Fri -40 hours a week Location : Houston, Tx 77026 Job Duties: Performs basic maintenance, which consist of ground maintenance, housekeeping activities, routine cleaning, repairs to structures, facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment. Operates power hand tools and equipment and performs painting, roofing, carpentry and plumbing activities. Monitors inventory control. Will drive the City vehicle on this assignment and will be required to have a valid Texas driver's license and comply with COH AP 2-2 policy. Will have to work in extreme weather conditions such as rain/heat. Performs additional miscellaneous assignments as required. KNOWLEDGE: Ability to read, write, add, subtract and follow oral and/or basic written instructions as might normally be acquired through 9 to 11 years of formal schooling. No special knowledge of any subject area or technical field is required.
