Description
Hi! Let's try this again.. someone flagged my last post for removal for no apparent reason, so to be absolutely clear: I'm a female vocalist looking for a band! Do not read into it any further. None of what I have to say is code or inuendo for anything. I am a musician seeking other local musicians. I would have liked to start this post the way I originally posted it, but because of this unsolicited trolling, I must begin like this. I am NOT looking for a$$holes or perverts. This is for MUSICIANS ONLY. I AM NOT SELLING ANY SERVICES OF ANY KIND. Okay, so now that I've made that clear, back to my original post... I am a female vocalist in New Orleas and I'm looking for a band! I hold my own playing guitar and singing, but would love a band to take over most of the instrumentals. I truly can't and don't want to stick to one genre, so versatility is pretty important to me. I love mashups, classic covers, unconventional covers, and I write my own songs as well, but my favorite thing is to create music mutually with the right band. Some of my favorite influences are Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Otis Redding, TOOL, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Hozier, Kaleo, Johnny Cash, Puscifer, and Patsy Cline (to name only a few). The following is a list of some of the songs I already cover/would like to cover, so those still interested and reading this post can further determine if we might be a good fit: Love On The Brain-Rihanna You Make Me Feel Good-Earl King Passive-A Perfect Circle Crawl Across Your Killing Floor-Danzig Dead Wrong- Biggie Smalls Give Me One Reason- Tracy Chapman Crazy- Patsy Cline Ode To Billy Joe- Bobby Gentry Ready For Love-Bad Company Breakin' Me-Johnny Lang River- Bishop Briggs Piano Trap- Lil Wayne By Your Side- Sade Crazy Love- Michael Bolton Angel From Montgomery- Bonnie Raitt Dreams- Fleetwood Mac Like You'll Never See Me Again- Jacob Banks The Gambler- Kenny Rogers Beast of Burden- The Rolling Stones ...this should give you an idea of the genre spread. I would love to adapt covers to an original sound created by a band together, but I'm open to doing straightforward covers if that's more...conducive. If you are a band or musician in New Orleans, you aren't a pervert, but you are looking for a female vocalist with a wide range and pretty alright guitar skills, then you found me! All inquiries (that is, all non sexual, non violent, and respectful inquiries), will be considered. I'm more than 420 friendly, like to have a drink, but don't tolerate wastey faces when it comes to band time, and I prefer to never ever deal with habitual Xanax/opiate users. So that's about it. Thanks for your time. ~Leesh
