Exploring mindfulness through yoga. When the term mindfulness is used it is most often associated with stillness, but it is so much more. Mindfulness is about being present in the moment and being consciously aware of sensations in your body and your surroundings. In this yoga class you will explore mindfulness through exploring yoga postures and sequences, as you connect breath with movement. During the class, the instructor will invite you to bring specific attention to breath and body sensations. This will encourage a shift in focus from thoughts to a felt sense.
