Join us for a naturalist-led hike to an overlook. New Jersey's spot along the Atlantic Flyway makes it an incredible spot to look out for migrating raptors! Hawks migrate during the day, so no matter where you are during peak migration times, keep an eye on the sky to see what’s coasting overhead. On this hike we will talk about different hawk species, how to look out for migrating hawks, learn how they make this journey, and go to an overlook where we will hopefully see some migrants soaring over the mountains. Open to ages 8 to seniors. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them; we also have a limited supply available to borrow.Non-refundable; In case of rain, you will be notified and the program will be rescheduled.Outdoor program; please dress accordinglyMasks are optional outdoors, but are required when using the indoor restrooms.No dogs please.Parking is available in the outer lot on Snake Den Rd, or you may drive in through the gate and park near the main brick building.
