Description

Camp Fire and Meaningful Conversation (and smores!) Feeling a deep need to connect with others in a positive way? Looking to meet new people and engage in meaningful conversation? Then join us at Fellowship House in Eliot on Friday, September 10th at 7pm for a camp fire and a chance to connect. And smores! This gathering is sponsored by Green Acre and is open to people of all spiritual traditions, including none. Around 7:30pm we'll have the chance to engage in a casual group conversation about a simple yet universal theme in a warm-hearted, non-partisan way. This is a great space for families with children (we like those small people!) and single folks as well. A few djembe drums and a guitar will be provided, but feel free to bring your own instruments and see how the evening unfolds! We may end up making some music and new friends. Fellowship House is located at 1037 Main Street in Eliot. The fire pit is situated behind the building and is easily accessible, with no stairs or hills to navigate (though there is a slope). There will be a few picnic tables and chairs available, but you may wish to bring your own chairs or blanket. We’ll wrap up around 9:00 pm, but feel free to arrive any time before then. Water and restrooms will be available, and we ask that you please wear a mask if you use the building facilities. This event is free of charge. Registration is not required though it is encouraged, so we have a sense of how many people to plan for. We look forward to seeing you there! A Bahá'í, non-profit organization dedicated to contributing to the well-being of the community.
