The South Texas Juvenile Diabetes Association (STJDA) has been serving the Rio Grande Valley for 10 years. Join us as we celebrate. STJDA has grown to 2 locations and runs 14 programs to serve families of children living with diabetes. For details of the organization and programs visit www.stjda.org Diabetic children are a special group of individuals who live everyday with challenges unique to them. This organization was started by parents of diabetic children as a support system and advocacy group that helps both diabetic children and their families. Vision: STJDA: Empowering children Supporting families Educating the Community Mission: The mission of STJDA is to enhance the lives of children with diabetes through personal empowerment, family support, community awareness and public advocacy.
