It’s time for your unwanted items to come out of the closet to the Sonoma Community Center for our Queer Clothes and Book Swap! BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! It’s time for your unwanted items to come out of the closet and come down to the Sonoma Community Center for our quarterly Queer Clothes Swap! This is a LGBTQ+ friendly, gender-neutral, and judgment-free event. Do you have a fabulous frock, terrific trousers, or some stunning shoes abandoned and lonely at the back of your wardrobe? Would you like to swap them for something EVEN MORE FABULOUS?! The clothes swap will be held on the Back Patio of the Center-(wheelchair accessible with an accessible bathroom). Please bring at least five and no more than 10 (so there is plenty to go around) good books and/or wonderful clothing items that are in good condition meaning washed with… No holes No missing buttons or zippers No stains Not worn out from washing a million times No underwear please (flexible with corsets and binders) No children’s clothes No cosmetics or pierced jewelry thank you. If you wouldn’t give it to a good friend, please consider recycling it rather than swapping it. We reserve the right to turn away any item.
