Experience local talent, engage in network opportunities, and discover a wealth of resources that uplift and inspire. The Long Beach Youth Festival 2021 will be the inaugural signature event of the Long Beach Commission on Youth and Families and the City of Long Beach’s new Office of Youth Development that will bring together youth, families, and other stakeholders together to experience local talent, engage in network opportunities, and discover a wealth of resources that uplift and inspire. The festival will consist of seminars and panels for people between the ages of 12-24, performances and showcases from local poets, writers, singers, and dancers, as well as interactive/fun activities and a resource fair that will be open to families and children. In addition, the festival will celebrate, acknowledge, and provide a platform for youth in Long Beach to experience and share through innovative and interactive sessions that will engage them with the resources and information they need to explore careers, navigate academic options, obtain health resources, and engage in community activities. The performances will inspire and provoke introspection and appreciation for local talent.
