SOS Class is for those who have tragically lost a loved one to suicide and would like support working through their grief process.
SOS class is a more in depth look at the grief process for those who have tragically lost a loved one to suicide. The class is faciliated by trained survivors of suicide who will walk alongside you as you dig deeper into the emotions of your grief and healing process. The class will be closed to new participants once it starts. Participants must be 18+ who are able and willing to commit to all sessions over the eight weeks. Group will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m. starting September 30th. All books and workbooks will be provided. There is no fee to participate in this program. To offer the class, we must have 6 participants registered. Group capacity is no more than ten individuals. We will be offering another class later, and if registration is at capacity, we encourage you to email Bridget at [email protected] to add your name to our waiting list.
The Front Porch Coalition provides prevention, intervention, and postvention services to the community to work to prevent the incidence of suicide.
