We've done this with hundreds of thousands of devices over the years. It's no small feat; it takes a team of dedicated people. "It takes a village," as the saying goes. In our case, it’s a warehouse full of amazingly weird and lovely people that pour their hearts and souls into making sure people can listen to that Van Morrison tape again...or shoot their grandpa’s SX-70 camera. Our staff is a pack of excitable (and somewhat obsessive) retro tech lovers, breathing new life into old devices in an ongoing effort to preserve a unique experience for a new generation. We're the protectors of the obsolete, a tongue-in-cheek title for our efforts - shrugging off a consumer culture fueled by consumption of the new, and those that won't invest themselves in curiosity, indulge in a little eccentricity, and discover something magical. These products that still prove to be so useful and enjoyable shouldn’t be haphazardly discarded, simply left to decay (or never decay, because plastic) in some landfill. Our team gives them a new life. We faithfully restore each item until it performs like it was meant to right out of the box, giving customers a true experience that refuses to be pushed out by the whims of the latest technological trend.
