POSITION: Surveyor's Assistant (Rodman) JOB DESCRIPTION: Entry Level Local engineering and land surveying firm is seeking an energetic, adaptable and solution oriented person with very good communication skills to assist in daily duties in a land surveying crew. Must be able to take and follow instructions but also be able to think independently. This person will be able to demonstrate experience in a variety of surveys including: Boundary and ALTA/NSPS, Topographic, Construction layout. Candidates will be required to carry up to 50 lbs. It is preferred candidates are proficient with data collectors and data collection techniques, conventional field notes and sketches, total stations, leveling, and in reporting accurate survey information resulting from the fieldwork. This position may require minimal overnight travel. Pay Range based on experience ($14.00-$16.00/Hr) REQUIREMENTS: • Valid Drivers License • High School Diploma
