Every Christian wants to grow and become spiritually mature, the question is: how? If you've ever felt dry, stuck in a rut, or if you're not where you thought you would be in your life, it might be that you need to learn to cultivate rhythms of grace. In this Disciplemakers Intensive, we'll do just that. We'll learn what real, boots-on-the-ground spiritual disciplines can look like and take home practical strategies to use far into the future. October 1st, 7-9pm October 2nd, 9am-noon Refreshments will be provided. This workshop is free! Childcare is not provided. Our speaker is Donald Whitney. Whitney came to Southern from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he was associate professor of spiritual formation for 10 years. He has authored nine books, including Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life, and is a popular conference speaker, especially on personal and congregational spirituality.
