Press release from the Town of Shrewsbury: September 1, 2021 September 1, 2021  8:00AM Update: The Shrewsbury Water Department completed repairs to the emergency water interconnection to Worcester overnight. The work area, which is on the eastbound side of Hartford Turnpike (Route 20) at the Worcester city line, has road plates until the area can be paved. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to make improvements to our water distribution system to ensure reliability and good water quality.
