Press release from the Office of the Worcester County District Attorney: September 1, 2021 WORCESTER – The body found at the edge of a parking lot in Leominster in May has been identified as a 19-year-old Worcester man, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr. The body of Franklin Mane was discovered on May 12 in an overgrown area at the edge of the parking lot at 46 Industrial Road, Leominster. The Medical Examiner determined Mane died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide. Mane was known to frequent the Main South area of Worcester and associate with street gangs. He was last seen alive in Worcester on March 6. The investigation remains ongoing by the State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney's Office, as well as the Worcester and Leominster Police Departments.
