WAUWATOSA, WI—The Wauwatosa Plan Commission will consider a conditional use permit for a coffeehouse at 8807 W. North Ave. The commission will also hold a public hearing during its meeting on Sept. 13, according city documents.
The request is for a Fiddleheads, a coffee shop serving nonalcoholic beverages, baked goods, breakfast, and lunch sandwiches.
Fiddleheads Coffee is a family-owned and operated business. Fiddleheads Coffee was established in 1996 with the first coffee house opened in Thiensville, Wisconsin.
Fiddleheads has seven cafes located in Grafton, Cedarburg, Thiensville, Menomonee Falls, Mequon, Shorewood, and BMO Tower in Downtown Milwaukee.
Fiddleheads is open seven days per week, with hours from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the weekend.
Fiddleheads cafes employ 15 - 20 employees per location.
