A fundraising bike ride and social to raise money for the The Sloan Harmon Scholarship Fund. A fundraising bike ride and social to raise money for the The Sloan Harmon Scholarship Fund. Sloan Harmon was a local mountain biker and friend. Sloan was training to become a pilot in the Air National Guard when his life was taken away from him at the age of just 20 years old. He meant a lot of things to a lot of people . He is missed by everyone that knew him. This event is to raise money for a scholarship fund for to help local high school kids. This fund produces 2 different scholarships. One scholarship to help someone to learn to fly and the one we fund- give a local student athlete/mountain biker some help in their general education. We will start the day at The McClellan MTB Trails with a group ride of varying skill levels. We will ride for around an hour with the ride ending at trail known as Sloan's Furnace. After the ride we will then meet back at the NEABA HQ for food, beverages, and some awesome Raffle prizes!!!! I hope you can all join us in celebrating Sloan Harmon and helping a future kid with their DREAM!!!
