Looking for a hard worker that doesn't mind being outside in the elements and cares about their job! Preferably looking to hire someone fulltime but we are open to part-time for the right person. Position Summary: The groundskeeper/porter is responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the property are maintained by cleaning the common grounds and community buildings. This position ensures that the physical aspects of the property meet the company's established standards and any applicable laws. Responsibilities will include the daily upkeep of the property, buildings, and grounds including cleaning and removing trash, as well as serving as support for the maintenance team. In the absence of a maintenance technician, the groundskeeper/porter will assist with maintenance responsibilities by responding to maintenance requests as instructed by the maintenance supervisor or property staff, or as requested by residents or vendors. Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; On call every 3 weeks Skills Required: -Good communication skills -Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills -Strong organizational and time-management skills -Ability to physically perform all functions of the job including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), squatting, climbing stairs and standing/sitting for longer periods of time.
