LAKEWOOD, CO — Several businesses in Lakewood are among the fastest-growing private companies in the United States, according to a new list released by Inc.com. The annual list highlights 5,000 of the country's fastest-growing companies, which are ranked by overall revenue growth over a three-year period. The top 500 are then featured in the September issue of Inc. Magazine. The fastest-growing company in Lakewood is AvenueWest Global Franchise, according to this year's list. AvenueWest is a network of locally owned and operated real estate property management brokerages that offer fully furnished and serviced residential properties. In all, the company grew more than 1,127 percent in the past year.
