The deadline to submit signatures has passed, and it looks like 12 candidates will be vying for six open seats, and the makeup of the next city council is hanging in the balance. (City of Lakewood)Jeffco Bus Driver Shortage: Jefferson County School District is short more than 70 bus drivers. To keep the wheels turning, managers and staff have been filling in on bus routes, and some working 14+ hours a day. (Patch) Colorado State Patrol's Labor Day weekend DUI enforcement: As summer comes to a close, CSP have patrols stationed statewide catch under the influence drivers.
