LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A 9-year-old child was rescued from a storm drain in Lawrenceville on Tuesday evening, the Lawrence Police Department said. On Tuesday around 4:51 p.m., Lawrence Township Police, Lawrence Township Fire Departments, and Emergency Services responded to the Lawrenceville Point development on a report that a child had crawled into a storm drain and became lost. The 9-year-old was visiting relatives in the area and had wandered off and entered the storm drain, police said. The child was located within a short time by emergency responders and was unharmed within the drain, police said.
