This is a flexible side hustle where you can make money delivering beach wheelchairs in the evenings or mornings. We are a beach wheelchair and scooter rental company seeking an independent contractor driver to deliver and pick up wheelchairs. The contractor needs to own a pickup truck or cargo van to do this gig. You don't need to own or be a part of another business. We work with individuals who want to make money on the side. HOW IT WORKS: We will offer you a set of deliveries as needed, usually for the same evening, or the following morning, which will come in the form of a text message of pick up and delivery addresses. At that time you can choose to accept or decline the routes. We deliver the electric beach wheelchairs to the parking lots or lobbies of hotels and condominiums within Ocean City - Rehoboth. You can borrow our ramps to do this gig. PAYMENT METHODS: Drivers track their own time and bill us. We pay electronically via Paypal or Cashapp usually within a day of the job performed, or we can write a check every week. PAY RATE: $30/hr. Track your own time starting as soon as you get into Ocean City, and end the time after your last drop off. You get paid during your route whether whether or not you have a chair in your truck at any given time. Reimbursement for mileage on your vehicle was determined and built into this $30/hr rate which keeps things simple. HOURS OF THE DELIVERY OPERATION: This is the perfect side gig for anyone who has a truck and wants to make extra income in the evenings (after 8PM) or early in the morning (before 10AM), which is when we do most of our deliveries and pick ups.
