PROVIDENCE, RI — Starting next week, the Roger Williams Park Zoo will change to its fall-winter operating schedule, closing some weekdays. Effective Sept. 7, the zoo will be open Thursday through Monday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The last admission will be at 3:30 p.m. The zoo will be open on Columbus Day, Veterans Day and during Providence school vacation days. It will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. All tickets must be purchased online, except for zoo members.
