PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — A 27-year-old Doylestown woman is accused of hitting and killing a Bucks County man early Saturday morning in Plumstead Township. Police allege Charlotte Kleckner struck a 61-year-old man from Pipersville with her vehicle around 12:20 a.m. Saturday in the 4700 block of Stump Road in the township. When officers and paramedics arrived, they found the man, who suffered fatal injuries, but there was no vehicle nearby, according to Plumstead Township police. Officers found Kleckner in her car less than a mile away and linked it to the crash, police said. Kleckner was charged Saturday with one count of accidents involving death or personal injury, according to court records. She was released from Bucks County jail after posting bail, which was set at $25,000, records show. The Plumstead Township Police Department is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Officer Jeffrey Moffett at 215-766-8741, ext. 123, or at [email protected].
