ELGIN, IL — Advocate Sherman Hospital has been forced to reschedule dozens of elective procedures due to a shortage of anesthesia providers.
Advocate is rescheduling less than 100 non-critical or elective procedures and transferring patients to other Advocate Aurora Health locations to undergo the procedures up through Sept. 20, according to a statement from Advocate Sherman Hospital.
